About Pauline Rader
1962 – 1980s
Pauline Rader’s father was a jeweler, so her passion for jewelry was in her blood. In 1962, she began to produce jewelry under her own name. The style of PAULINE RADER jewelry was greatly influenced by her passion for antiquity. Most of the jewelry was massive, and the influence of antique Greek and Roman jewelry was clearly visible. Most often, the jewelry was made of metal in the color of antique gold or high standard gold. The stones used (mainly cabochons) were of bright coloures. The designer's favorite color was lazuli.
Costume jewelry of this exclusive brand was produced in tiny batches for expensive boutiques, and often in a single copy for individual customers.
All the PAULINE RADER jewelry is rare and collectible.
